3) Almost overnight, mainstream Christianity shifted from belief in universal salvation to belief in the Roman doctrine of eternal punishment in hell.

4) The book then reveals the historical events which led to this sudden and instantaneous shift. (The historical revelation is not only fascinating, but it also has profound implications for the Christian faith today.)

This book blows the lid off a dirty little secret behind the development of a core Christian belief. And it reveals the surprising differences between the original Bible penned by the apostles and the modern versions read in churches today.

In my opinion, the Christian faith is very well served in the overall conclusion of the book. Despite the uncensored depiction of the raw historical truth, the book remains pro-Christian, pro-Bible in its final analysis.

I strongly recommend this book for Christians and non-Christians alike. A fascinating read regardless of your religious persuasion.

AWESOME book!!! Is it True?

This is an AWESOME book! My head is still spinning after reading this book. If this is true it is a HUGE and world changing revelation to the meaning of Heaven and Hell. I would like to believe that the way the story describes Heaven and Hell are true.

I would love more information from the author about his research and if he is putting this all out there as truth. Was there a Jerome? Did he have this affect on the Bible? Can the Greek words be translated as is described? I am a Christian who seeks to understand the truth. I feel like the characters in the book, desperate to want to understand the truth and looking where to turn for more answers. I respectfully beg the author to create an information website on his research and a blog that people could use to discuss their reactions. As John 8:32 says, 'Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." Michael, please help us to know if you consider this all true.

The basic concept behind the Jerome conspiracy is that the scrolls from cave number 4 contain the Egyptian version of the Bible. This had to be kept secret as it highlighted contradictions in the accepted version of the bible in relation to quotations of Jesus in the New Testament. Whenever Jesus quoted Isaiah or other prophets, his words did not tally with the modern bible. However, they do tally with the Egyptian transcription....

I have just finished reading the Jerome Conspiracy and finally the Bible makes sense. The book is in line with what I have been thinking for years and I feel better for having read it.

In summary, this book shows the connections between the Septuagint, the Babylonian and Egyptian versions of the Old Testament (they're not the same), the beliefs of the early Church, the influence (& agenda) of Jerome, how the Bible was altered, and the expose of the books of 2 Peter and Jude.

Fascinating...!
